James Gandolfini 1961-2013

James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano.  What an icon.  It just didn't seem real when I heard the news today.



The Sopranos was the only show I can remember that I would actually plan events around with my friends.  I started watching in between season 3 & 4.  I remember watching the finale before my Christopher was even born.

I also thought Gandolfini was great in other roles.  True Romance, Get Shorty, Crimson Tide, and Welcome to the Rileys.  I really liked how he just wanted to go back to being a supporting actor once The Sopranos was over.

Dub-C 4 Miler

West Chester, PA

A staple in my yearly running calendar, the Dub C 4 Miler in West Chester.  The race is always on a Friday night in downtown West Chester.  This year for the first time, I would be running with Jared and Johnny.  Sure enough, it was pouring rain this year.  I think rain clouds just follow John wherever he goes.

Anyway, I couldn't take a whole lot of pictures, but we did get one good one in.

2nd year for the Cabrini 5k.  There were about 40 people who participated.  30 walkers, and 10 runners.  You know what that means....Another top 10 finish for me.

Glad to see Mark Redwine and Lori Henderson at the race.
