Oddyssey Half Marathon
Oddyssey Half Marathon
Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA
First Half Marathon that Jared and I ran together. My buddy Barry was there again, juggling deflated footballs.
Jared and I were the last ones to cross the starting line.
We ran together for about 3 miles, and then Jared took off. It was a really nice course with lots of shade, but man was it hot. Jared was waiting for me with a beer at the finish. This was a really fun race that I would recommend to anybody.

Delaware Junior Mud Run

Last fall, the Schierbaum family and I did the Delaware Mud Run. We saw then that they hosted a similar event for kids in the summer time. Needless to say, we made sure that we signed the kids up for it in 2015.

2015 Delaware Mud Run Jr.
Unfortunately, the way it worked out, we were not able to have the kids
all run in the same heat. Sierra ran at 5:15, and we didn't get there
until about 6:30 (so we did not get to see her run). The boys had the
option of running at 7:15 on their own, or at 7:45 with me. Chris
wanted to run with me, and Nathan wanted to run on his own.
So off went Nathan
and within 30 seconds of Nathan crossing the finish line, Chris and I were off.
The boys did their first obstacle course/mud run. I couldn't be prouder.

My 5th Dub-C 4 Miler.
Another running season, another Dub-C 4 Miler for me and Jared. I wasn't able to run it the previous year because of my surgery. It was good to get out and do it again this year. Megan Darling came with us and did the 2 mile walk. A good time as always.
