Jeremy's Jedi 5k Run/Walk - Episode I

OK, tons of pictures for this event, and actually broke it off into 3 posts (or, since the day is centered around a Star Wars theme, I broke it off into 3 episodes).

Started off the pre-race morning with a little playdoh to get the day rolling.

And of course, the breakfast of champions

So the run starts over at Great Valley Middle School and ends in the track in the High School.  This is an inagural run, so I wasn't sure how many people were going to be there.  As I pulled in and saw this banner, (sponsored by B101 radio) I realized that this might be a nice sized event.

Registration

The boys are excited for the run today.  We got out of the car and saw the B101 Bee Mascot.  They were happy to see the bee, but made sure to keep a safe distance, which was funny.

This was the funniest picture.  The license plate says WHOAS ME, and coincidently, the frame is a Flyers frame.  The Flyers were swept by the Boston Bruins the night before.

Nathan finally worked up the courage to get his pic taken with the Bee.  Chris wanted no part of this guy.

OK, now this was taken literally 5 seconds before the start of the race.....meaning the race is about to start, and the kids are not in the wagon....D'OH!!!
