Healthy Kids Running Series - Season 3 for the Bugey Boys, Week #5 (of 5)

Healthy Kids Running Series -
Rustin High School
West Chester, PA
Race #5 (of 5)

Unfortunately, I had to fly to Texas today for a conference starting tomorrow.  I was unable to watch the last race.  Christopher ended up taking 2nd place overall in his division, and got his first trophy (and made sure everyone knew it).

Another series done.  We will be back in the spring for more.

Garden State Discovery Museum

Garden State Discovery Museum
Cherry Hill, NJ

The boys had a half day of school today, so we spent the afternoon on a little road trip out to Cherry Hill, NJ.  The Garden State Discovery Museum is a nice little way to spend a couple of hours and let the boys run around.  It was only about half the size of the Delaware Children's Museum, but I felt that there was just as much to do.  It wasn't too crowded, and their was so much to do that the kids never got bored.

Healthy Kids Running Series - Season 3 for the Bugey Boys, Week #4 (of 5)

Healthy Kids Running Series -
Rustin High School
West Chester, PA
Race #4 (of 5)

2 races left.  Turns out Chris's friend Sam is doing the running series.

As is Nathan's friend Sam from school

Chris ended up in 2nd place this race.  That puts him 2nd overall with 1 race to go (only one point behind the leader.

and then Nathan and Sam had their race.  Nathan ran in the back, because he thought if he didn't, then Sam would get lost.  Seriously, he is the cutest kid ever.

Healthy Kids Running Series - Season 3 for the Bugey Boys, Week #3 (of 5)

Healthy Kids Running Series -
Rustin High School
West Chester, PA
Race #3 (of 5)

Chris was up first again.  He was not thrilled that he got 4th place in the last race, so he was a little more prepared for this one.  He took off, had the lead 10 yards into the race, then never looked back.  Three races in, and he has two first place finishes.  I am so proud of him.....not because he won, and not because he wanted to win, and prepared for it all day.

and then it was time for Nathan's run.

Seriously, I am just as proud of him, because there isn't a single runner who has as much fun running as Nathan does, and nobody waves at his parents as much as he does either.
